Dr. Friedman’s Treatment Approach to Psoriasis

Dr. David Friedman’s first step is an exact diagnosis of psoriasis and the sub-type of psoriasis. In order to tailor an appropriate specific treatment modality for you, an exact diagnosis is mandatory.

Before starting with medical treatment, Dr. Friedman believes that it is smartest to identify and eliminate any practice which can be contributing to and or causing the psoriasis such as:

  • Soaps
  • Moisturizers
  • Creams
  • Sun Exposure

Dr. Friedman’s treatment approach for mild to moderate cases of psoriasis include:

  • Topical Prescription Creams
  • Laser Therapy
  • Targeted Phototherapy with the Excimer Laser

Every psoriasis patient is unique and must be treated as an individual. Your particular case will be analyzed and a treatment program that you can live with will be personally developed for you by Dr. Friedman.
