What Are Warts?
Warts are typically hard and rough growths on the skin caused by the human papilloma virus (HPV).
Warts most commonly appear on:
- Hands and Fingers
- Bottom of Feet
- Face, often near the eyelids and lips
- Genitalia
The standard wart treatment performed by the Kupot Cholim is cryotherapy, which freezes the wart with liquid nitrogen. Cryotherapy is most effective for a simple wart.
Dr. Friedman’s Treatment Approach to Wart Removal
Dr. Friedman treats all types of standard and complex warts with lasers, including warts which have not responded well to cryotherapy.
